At Schreyer Outfitters we don't liked to get SPAM mail or see an unauthorized credit transaction show up on a statement any more than you do, so we take extra precautions to make sure your information stays safe with us. We wouldn't want someone selling the information we that we worked so hard for, and we believe you deserve the same.
Difference between Billing and Shipping Address
In order to prevent credit card fraud, both a billing address and shipping address are asked for. The billing address needs to match the address that is associated with the credit card that is being used. If it does not, it will flag it in the system. The shipping address can be where ever you want your order to be shipped to, that part is entirely up to you (within the United States and Canada of course).
You going to sell my email address and fill it with SPAM?
NO! I hate spam mail along with weekly newsletters from companies. Do we all really need to know every little change or detail? At Schreyer Outfitters we are real people too and hate junk mail so we do our best to limit the newsletters we send out. I'm sure you'll want to know when there is a big sale going on, so we'll send you an email. But if we're changing the text color from black to red, we'll pass on letting you know about it. If you check the site often and don't need a reminder about sales, feel free to make a note when you check out and we'll take you off the email list. It's that simple. Please don't type in an incorrect email address. I know, I've done it before too. With Schreyer Outfitters there is no need to worry and it helps us track your order because it's how we send you a confirmation number.
Is my credit card information safe?
Yes, at Schreyer Outfitters we use SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology that encrypts all of your credit card information of a secure connection.
We ship to all 50 states in the U.S. and Canada. We do not ship to other international addresses. In the event a shipping address is entered that is outside of the above shipping area, we will attempt to make contact and see if it was just a mistake. If it was not, we apologize, but we will have to cancel the order and issue a full refund.
Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.
How soon will my order ship?
We're no different than you, when we click the "order" button we start getting excited! That is why if your order is placed before 2PM EST, most products will ship out the same business day. We can't always predict what is going to be on back order or special order items, but for most items this isn't an issue.
How long will it take to receive my product?
If the product is in stock most orders are received within 3-6 business days depending on your location. Non-stock, special order and out of stock items may take 1-2 weeks to be received. Please do not make appointments to have products installed until they are in hand. We are not responsible for delays or canceled appointment charges.
APO/FPO Shipping (Military Address)
As much as would like to ship right to your APO or FPO addresses, our shipping company does not provide this service. The best alternative is to have the item shipped to a friend or family member in the US and then have them ship it via US Postal Service. We appreciate your service to our country and continually keep you in our thoughts and prayers. We apologize for any inconvenience.
At Schreyer Outfitters we do not manufacture all of the products that we carry and therefore any warranties that are made about the product are done so by the manufacturer. All warranties made about a product (written and/or implied), if any, have been done at the sole discretion of the manufacturer. If at any time you have an issue with a product, please try to contact the manufacture directly. They are generally very helpful and willing to make things right. If you don't have much luck, give us a call and we'll do our best to sort out the situation.
If we made a mistake and you received a part different than what you ordered online, we'll issue you a refund and pay to ship it back. It is that simple.
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item
In order to track what is getting returned, from where, and what went wrong an RMA (Return Authorization Number) is required. In order to obtain this please give us a call and we can issue you one and walk you through the process. To help us track the product and make sure we issue the credit to the correct person please write the RMA number we give you clearly on the outside of the packaging box and NOT on the product or product box itself!
When returning an item:
• Returns must be in the outer box that they were shipped in or something similar.
• Do not write on the product packaging, all writing (RMA #) is to be on the outer shipping box only.
• We cannot accept packages that do not have an RMA number written clearly on the outside of the package. Believe it or not, there are scams out there where people will buy from other places and try to return it to us for a refund.
• Items that you wish to return must be returned within 30 days of the date that the shipping company tracking number says it was delivered to you.
• Returned items must be in new condition and re-saleable, with all original product packaging, parts, manuals, cables, fittings, hardware, etc.
• A restocking fee of 20% may be assessed or refund refused upon inspection of the product. Our actual shipping charges will not be refunded even if received “free” shipping.
• Customer is responsible for shipping costs to return products.
Instances where a credit will not be issued but are not limited to:
• Installation and/or use of the product is evident.
• Damage has resulted from the attempt to install and/or use the product.
• Product was returned without original product packaging, parts, manuals, cables, hardware, fittings, etc.
• Electrical parts seal is broken.
• Serial number of the product does not match what was originally shipped to customer.
• Product is considered not resalable upon inspection by Schreyer Outfitters due to the mishandling by the customer.
All shipments that are ordered and then refused by the customers will automatically be charged a 20% restocking fee, actual shipping charges, and any additional fees. This will be deducted from the refunded amount.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
Schreyer Outfitters can the ability to special order almost any product that is produced by our manufacturers. Because these special order items are so specialized and custom for you application, payment is full is required and is not cancellable and not returnable. Please contact us directly for these items as we will walk you through and verify exactly what you need and what applications the product will work for. Estimating a delivery time for these items is very difficult as some are made to order especially for you. If you see an item on a manufactures websites but not listed on ours, give us a call and we'll get you
pricing and get it ordered.
Application of Products
If at any time you have a question about the application of a product we will be more than happy to assist you in verify it will work for your application. We cannot issue a refund for a product that was purchased for an application outside of what it was designed for. Please call with questions in these instances.
